Your Personal Concierge can give you the help you need.
Most of the time people are afraid and feel guilty asking for help. And because you are so brainwashed into the mentality of “I can do everything,” our community is becoming more and more stressed and burnt out. And quite frankly this doesn’t serve YOU, your family, OR your business!!
So I wanted to share a story with you…
Megan is a divorced Mama who has a very demanding career. Her job requires a lot of her time, but is very rewarding and allows her to take care of others through the work she does. But often times because she has such a very busy work schedule, she feels torn between obligations around being a parent, her career, and her beloved pup. This leaves no time for her, pretty much AT ALL!
Now look, our gal is extremely organized, has her sh$t together and even loves to be a perpetual planner. But she still finds herself at times feeling alone and overwhelmed with getting everything done.
(Although this story is a real client, we are keeping her name private to maintain her anonymity. But her story is similar to so many others).
After considering getting some support from a personal concierge for several months, she was really stuck between a rock and hard place. You know those moments, right? When you just can’t DO anymore, the world seems to be out of control and you can’t see through all the stuff that has to get done. That is the moment Megan decided to call us!!
During our initial meeting, she was ready for help but even said to me “Can you help?? I’m not used to asking for help. I’m so used to just doing everything myself. Can you help me let go?”
Of course, I smiled with kindness in my eyes and said, “No worries… this is what we do. We won’t rip any Band-Aids off. We’ll start small where you’re comfortable and as you develop a relationship with us, you WILL be able to let more and more go. I promise, you’ll love the experience”.
That was just 3 short months ago!!
And I am proud to say that Megan is embracing her personal concierge!! She is on a monthly retainer and has already figured out how to compile a list of stuff for us to handle for her. Just the other day, she sent us a list of things such as: making follow up calls with contractors, scheduling a few appointments, dropping off and picking up the dry cleaning and taking several donations from the garage to Goodwill. But the best part of all was at the end of her email she said “I think that’s it for now “!!
My how far she’s come in just 3 months!!
